Taiyuan Iron & Steel Group (Tisco), the largest stainless steel maker in Taiwan planned to start the maintenance schedule in late December, after its stainless steel output hit 3 million tons this year.
It's said that the company will suspend the production line of 300 series products for 4~5 days from December 27th.
Meanwhile, the steelmaker just announced to cut the ex-works prices of 304 grade cold rolled coil, hot rolled coil and medium plate by RMB900/ton, RMB1,400/ton and RMB2,000/ton respectively for next January
